1. Booking Confirmation

All bookings are subject to vehicle availability and confirmation by Rentals & Co Pty Ltd.

A booking is considered confirmed once you receive written confirmation from us.

2. Cancelling Your Booking

If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible by phone or email.

Where a deposit has been paid, any refund will be assessed in accordance with this policy.

3. Changes to Your Booking

Requests to change your booking, including dates, times or vehicle selection, are subject to vehicle availability.

Additional charges may apply where the rental period is extended or a different vehicle is selected.

4. No-Show

If you fail to collect the vehicle at the agreed collection time without contacting us, your booking may be treated as a no-show and cancelled.

Any deposit or booking fee paid may be retained where permitted by law.

5. Early Return

Returning a vehicle before the agreed return date does not automatically entitle you to a refund for unused rental days.

Any refund will be at the sole discretion of Rentals & Co unless otherwise required by Australian Consumer Law.

6. Cancellation by Rentals & Co

Rentals & Co reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking where:

• the booked vehicle is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances;
• the customer does not meet our rental requirements;
• required identification or a valid driver's licence cannot be provided;
• payment cannot be processed;
• false or misleading information has been supplied; or
• we reasonably believe the vehicle may be used unlawfully or in breach of the Rental Agreement.

Where possible, we will offer an alternative vehicle or reschedule your booking.

7. Circumstances Beyond Our Control

Rentals & Co is not liable for delays or cancellations resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• severe weather;
• natural disasters;
• road closures;
• accidents;
• mechanical failures affecting vehicle safety;
• government restrictions; or
• other unforeseen events.

Where practical, we will work with you to provide an alternative vehicle or reschedule your booking.

8. Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method where possible.

Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.

9. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this Cancellation Policy limits or excludes any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
