This Rental Agreement is entered into between Rentals & Co Pty Ltd ("Rentals & Co", "we", "our", or "us") and the renter ("you" or "the Hirer").

By signing this agreement, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.

Schedule C — Approved Drivers

Only drivers listed and approved by Rentals & Co may operate the vehicle. Each approved driver must provide their name, driver licence number and signature.

1. Eligibility

To hire a vehicle you must:

• hold a valid Australian or recognised international driver's licence
• provide valid identification
• meet any vehicle-specific eligibility requirements
• comply with all conditions of this agreement

Only approved drivers may drive the vehicle.

2. Rental Period

The rental period begins at the agreed collection time and ends once the vehicle has been returned, inspected and accepted by Rentals & Co.

Late returns may incur additional charges.

3. Vehicle Collection

The Hirer confirms that:

• the vehicle has been inspected
• the vehicle is in acceptable condition
• existing damage has been recorded
• all supplied accessories have been received

4. Vehicle Return

The vehicle must be returned:

• on time
• to the agreed location
• with the same fuel level as collection
• in substantially the same condition (allowing for fair wear and tear)

Additional cleaning or damage charges may apply where necessary.

5. Approved Use

The Hirer agrees that the vehicle will not be:

• driven by an unauthorised driver
• used for racing, drifting or burnouts
• used for driver training
• used for illegal purposes
• used while the driver is impaired by alcohol or drugs
• taken outside Victoria without prior written approval
• sublet or hired to another person

6. Hirer's Responsibilities

The Hirer is responsible for:

• traffic infringements
• tolls
• parking fines
• speeding fines
• cleaning charges where required
• damage not covered by insurance
• any applicable insurance excess

7. Accidents & Breakdowns

If an accident or breakdown occurs the Hirer must:

• ensure everyone's safety
• contact emergency services where required
• notify Rentals & Co as soon as reasonably possible
• not admit liability on behalf of Rentals & Co
• cooperate with any insurance claim

8. Damage

The Hirer must immediately report:

• accidents
• theft
• vandalism
• mechanical issues
• warning lights

Unauthorised repairs must not be carried out without written approval.

9. Payments

The Hirer agrees to pay:

• rental charges
• approved extensions
• tolls
• infringements
• cleaning fees
• damage charges where applicable
• any additional agreed costs

Outstanding amounts may be recovered in accordance with Australian law.

10. Cancellation & Early Return

Cancellation and refund requests are handled in accordance with the Rentals & Co Cancellation Policy.

Returning a vehicle early does not automatically entitle the Hirer to a refund.

11. Privacy

Personal information is collected and handled in accordance with the Rentals & Co Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

13. Acceptance

I acknowledge that:

• I have read this Rental Agreement.
• I understand my obligations.
• I agree to comply with all terms.
• I have had the opportunity to ask questions before signing.
